The cooking plate of the OFYR units has a slight downward slope towards the middle. When the cooking plate is heated, the slope becomes even more apparent. This can result in ingredients rolling down into the fire, like tomatoes or fatty foods. The OFYR Food Bumper has been developed to avoid these kinds of problems. The raised steel ring is placed on the inner side of the plate. To make sure you can still clean the plate and push food remnants into the fire, a small opening has been left between the plate and the ring. * Available for the OFYR 85 and 100. * Prevents food from rolling into the fire. * The narrow opening between the cooking plate and the ring is ideal for sweeping food remnants into the fire.
